Questions we get asked
How long does a new garage door installation take?
A standard-size steel door from our warehouse is usually installed the same day you pick it, in a few hours. Custom sizes, wood and specialty glass doors are ordered and typically arrive in a few weeks.
Can I see the doors before I buy?
Yes. Our Carlstadt showroom at 333 16th Street has real doors you can open and close, walk-in with no appointment needed. Bring a photo of the front of the house and the width and height of the opening.
Which brands do you install?
We are an authorized dealer for C.H.I., Clopay, Wayne Dalton, Amarr, Lynx, General Doors, Artisan Door, Richard Wilcox, Haas and others, with LiftMaster and Genie openers.
Do I need an insulated door?
If the garage is attached to the house, shares a wall with a room you use, or has a room above it, insulation is worth it and you will notice it in January. Insulated doors are also quieter and stiffer. A detached garage you park in and leave usually does not need it.
What is the warranty on a new door?
Every residential installation carries our own two-year parts and labor warranty, on top of the manufacturer warranty on the door itself.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, through Wisetack. You pick the terms, checking your options does not affect your credit, and Wisetack discloses the rates directly.
