A dock leveler that will not rise, will not hold, or has a lip that will not extend takes a loading door out of service and puts forklift operators at risk. What we repair

Mechanical levelers (springs, hold-downs, lip assist, pull chains), hydraulic levelers (cylinders, hoses, power units, control boxes), air-powered levelers (air bags, blowers), and edge-of-dock levelers. We also replace dock bumpers, dock seals and shelters, wheel chocks and vehicle restraints, and the overhead door above the leveler, since the two are usually serviced together.

Replacement and new installation

When a pit leveler is past repair we remove it, prepare the pit and install a new mechanical or hydraulic unit sized to your trailer mix and forklift loads. For buildings without pits we install edge-of-dock levelers. We work with your GC on concrete and your electrician on power.

Maintenance

Quarterly dock maintenance covers the leveler, the door, the seal and the restraint in one visit, with a report for your safety file. Most leveler failures we see are springs and hold-downs that were never lubricated or adjusted.
