Garage Door Repair and Installation in Maplewood, NJ
Maplewood is one of the Essex County towns we work in most, and most of that work is on older houses. A lot of the town was built in the 1910s to the 1930s — colonials, Tudors and center-halls on narrow lots — and many of them still have a detached garage at the end of a single-lane driveway.
What we get called for
Detached garages with no opener, or an opener hung from ceiling joists that were never meant to carry it. Doors that were cut down or shimmed to fit an opening that is not quite square. Springs and cables that have been rusting in an unheated garage for years. When the door is replaced, the opening usually needs new jambs and weather seal before the new door goes in, and we price that up front.
When the door is past saving we replace it, and you can see the actual panels at our Carlstadt showroom before you decide. We are a dealer for C.H.I., Clopay, Wayne Dalton, Amarr and the other major brands, and every residential job carries our own two-year parts and labor warranty.
