Garage Door Repair and Installation in Montclair, NJ

Montclair has some of the oldest and most varied housing we work on — Victorians, Tudors and early colonials, many with a detached carriage-house garage at the back of a long or sloped driveway.

What we get called for

Wooden doors that have rotted at the bottom section. Detached garages with no power at the door. Openings that are wider or taller than today’s standard sizes, which means a custom-size door. Owners on historic streets often want a door that looks like the original swing-out carriage doors but opens like a modern overhead door, and that is a style we install often.

When the door is past saving we replace it, and you can see the actual panels at our Carlstadt showroom before you decide. We are a dealer for C.H.I., Clopay, Wayne Dalton, Amarr and the other major brands, and every residential job carries our own two-year parts and labor warranty.
