NJ Garage Doors, 333 16th St (Unit A), Carlstadt, NJ 07072. Mon–Fri 8am–5pm, Sat 9am–1pm. Call or text first and we'll have the sections and hardware ready at the counter. You'll need a pickup truck, trailer or van — four 8 ft sections plus tracks. No shipping.
Will it fit my opening?
This door fits a finished opening of 8 ft wide by 6 ft 6 in tall. Extension springs (included) work down to about 10" of headroom; torsion springs (+$39) need about 12"; a low-headroom track kit goes lower still. Measure the width and height of the opening, the headroom (ceiling to top of opening) and the sideroom on each side. Track radius is picked by headroom: 10", 12" (standard) or 15" radius, or a low-headroom track kit (+$39) when there's less than 10". Not sure? Installation
We install the 5283 across North Jersey, usually same day. Installation is quoted separately with a free estimate; residential installs carry our 2-year parts and labor warranty.
Returns
Unopened, undamaged doors may be returned within 30 days at the showroom. Doors that have been installed or sections that have been unbanded are final sale.
