A spring breaks at the worst possible moment — never when the budget is ready for it. Financing exists so the timing does not decide the repair.
How it works
1. We send the estimateWritten and itemized, through Housecall Pro, with the financing option on it.
2. You choose the termsThe financing option is on the estimate. You pick what works — we do not pick for you.
3. We scheduleOnce you are set, the job goes on the calendar.
Financing is provided through Wisetack, the lender built into Housecall Pro. The whole thing runs through the same estimate we would send you anyway — there is no separate application to hunt down and nothing to fill in at the kitchen table while a technician waits. Checking your options does not affect your credit score; Wisetack sets and discloses the actual rate and terms to you directly, and we never see your financial details. If anything about your terms changes, Wisetack prompts you with it during the application itself — before you agree to anything.
The terms are yours to select. We do not steer you toward a longer term to make a number look smaller.
When financing is actually the right call
Here is the honest version, because we would rather you use this well than use it often.
It is worth it when deferring makes the problem worse. A worn spring does not stay worn — it snaps, and what was a spring job becomes a spring job plus a bent door, a damaged opener, or a cable that took the drum with it. A failing opener grinding against a door that is out of balance is doing damage every single cycle. In those cases the repair gets more expensive the longer it waits, and spreading the cost beats paying a bigger bill later.
It is not a reason to buy more door than you need. If you came to us for a repair and the repair is the right answer, we will tell you that. Financing should not turn a $400 fix into a $4,000 door because the monthly number sounded manageable. Ask us plainly which one your door needs — we answer that question the same way whether or not you finance.
What you get either way
Financing changes nothing about the work or the coverage. Residential jobs carry two years on parts and labor from NJ Garage, and the manufacturer’s warranty on top of that, which we follow through for you. The full terms are on our warranty page.
