How fast can you get to a garage door repair in New Jersey?
Most repairs are same day. We stock springs, cables, rollers, openers and panels in our Carlstadt warehouse and on the trucks, so the tech usually arrives with the part. Emergencies are covered around the clock with a twelve-hour response window.
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. Estimates are free. Call 201-621-2161 or send a photo of the door by text and we will tell you what it likely needs before we come out.
My garage door opens a few inches and stops. What is wrong?
Nine times out of ten that is a broken torsion spring. The opener senses the door is too heavy and stops to protect itself. Do not keep trying to run it. It is a same-day repair, and we replace both springs on a two-spring door so you are not calling again in three months.
Can you repair a garage door you did not install?
Yes. We service every major brand — C.H.I., Clopay, Wayne Dalton, Amarr, LiftMaster, Genie and others — and carry parts for most of them.
Is it worth repairing an old door or should I replace it?
If the sections are sound and it is a spring, cable, roller or opener problem, repair. If the panels are rusted through, the door is badly out of square, or it has needed several repairs in a couple of years, replacement usually costs less over time. We will tell you which it is on site.
What is the warranty on a repair?
Residential repairs carry our own two-year parts and labor warranty on top of any manufacturer warranty on the part.
