Garage Door Repair and Installation in Fairfield, NJ

Fairfield is the industrial end of Essex County: Route 46, Passaic Avenue, Fairfield Road and the warehouse blocks off Clinton Road, with residential streets tucked behind them. NJ Garage Doors works both sides of it. Our Carlstadt showroom is about 20 minutes away on Route 46 and Route 3, and a truck based in Wayne covers Fairfield most days, so same-day service is the norm, not the exception.

Commercial doors in Fairfield

Most of our Fairfield calls are commercial: sectional steel doors on warehouses and distribution buildings, rolling steel doors and grilles on contractor yards and auto shops, dock levelers and dock seals that have stopped holding, high-lift tracks for forklift clearance, and commercial operators that run but will not lift. We respond 24/7 for doors that are stuck open or closed, and we put Fairfield buildings on quarterly maintenance so property managers are not calling us at night. See commercial garage doors, dock levelers and rolling gates and rolling steel.

Residential repair and new doors

For the homes off Big Piece Road, Hollywood Avenue and the streets near the Fairfield Recreation Complex, the usual calls are broken torsion springs, snapped cables, doors off track, and openers that have quit. Trucks carry the common springs, rollers, cables and LiftMaster openers, so most repairs are finished on the first visit. New doors are C.H.I. and Clopay, with a 2-year parts and labor warranty on residential work.

What we get called for

Broken spring, door stuck halfway, opener running but door not moving, loud or crooked door, panel damage from a vehicle, dock leveler not rising, rolling door off the barrel, fire door drop test and reset.
